What these tools cannot do

Every tool here operates on a file you select from your own device. There is no field to paste a link into, and no mechanism anywhere on this site for fetching media from a URL.

The tools cannot download video from YouTube, Netflix, Spotify or any other streaming service, and no future version will. That capability is not merely absent, it is outside what this site is for.

The tools cannot remove, bypass or circumvent digital rights management. A DRM-protected file will simply fail to process, because the encoder cannot read it.

Your responsibility

You may use these tools only on material you own, have created, or otherwise have a clear legal right to process.

Converting a file does not change who owns it. Format conversion of copyrighted work you do not have rights to remains infringement, and that is your responsibility rather than ours.

If you are unsure whether you may process a particular file, you probably should not.

Prohibited uses

Processing material that infringes copyright, trademark or any other right of a third party.

Processing content that is unlawful, including child sexual abuse material, which will be reported to the relevant authorities wherever we become aware of it.

Any attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse the site's protections, or to redistribute the site as your own service.

Copyright complaints

Because no file is ever uploaded to or stored on our servers, we host no user content and there is nothing for us to remove in response to a takedown notice.
