The service

clipstool provides free utilities that convert, compress and resize media files inside your own web browser. No processing occurs on our servers. No registration is required and no payment is taken.

The service is provided free of charge and without any commitment to continued availability. Tools may be changed, replaced or withdrawn at any time.

Acceptable use

You may use these tools only with files you own or are otherwise legally entitled to process.

You must not use the site to infringe copyright, to process material you have no right to, or in any manner unlawful in your jurisdiction.

You must not attempt to interfere with the site's operation, or use automated systems to place load on it beyond ordinary personal use.

No warranty

The tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Media conversion is lossy by nature and results vary with the source file. We do not warrant that any conversion will succeed, that output will meet your expectations, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Always keep your original file. Because processing happens in your browser's memory, an interrupted conversion produces nothing recoverable.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, clipstool is not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
